چکیده
This study aimed to optimize pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) of phenolic compounds from the brown seaweed Fucus vesiculosus obtain extract with high yield, rich in compounds, good radical scavenging, and metal chelating ability. The was optimized a Box–Behnken design experiment response surface tool. Optimal condition found at 137.18 °C, 58.65% v/v ethanol water 4.68 min time which resulted yield 31.16% dry basis, total content (TPC) 3.69 g gallic acid equivalent (100 seaweed)?1, effective concentration for 50% inhibition (EC50) DPPH (92.6 ?g mL?1), ABTS (2.35 mg (1.10 mL?1). TPC value scavenging activity PLE were insignificantly different one obtained conventional solvent extraction, proved advantages terms shorter less requirement. Gallic, protocatechuic, gentisic acids identified extracts.
